4 weeks old!

4 weeks ago right now pups were arriving! ❤️❤️❤️

Doing really good! The tunnel and slide are huge hits a couple like to sleep in the tunnel, Pink in particular and they have been enjoying war movies. Lots of new sounds. Their gruel has turned into chunky gruel, mom is still nursing but weaning starts this week.

Oh they are So busy and doing more dog-like things by the day. Pink was in the tunnel barking, real big-dog barks this morning. That little girl is a hoot!!! They all have such funny little personalities and are so smart, doing really well with the potty box (we still have accidents, but hey, we are not even 4 weeks old!) and they love their gruel. Green and Yellow watched GI Joe this morning, well they were all there,  But they were the two that noticed the movement and stared at the tv trying to catch a scent of the movement :) very sweet!

Here's a video from last night. Pardon for the silly commentary, I'm still exhausted, but up only about 2 times a night now, which will be about how we roll til they go home. So it's better, but still not very restful :) we're getting there, babies are very worth it.

They love the tunnel and have already been through it of their own volition. They also like the crate and cuddle up in it. They do want out. They have figured out where the door is and come to it and get all screamy, they want to be free dogs. Not yet guys!

They are using the potty box pretty good, considering they've only been in there about 90 min, I have to say I'm impressed!

My Friday

So My Friday nights mean I'm not in such a stressful hurry to get chores done and get to bed. So we had fun. Every evening we bring a puppy for alone time with us. We started with Red, but when she started nursing I got Green who is the other smaller puppy and Pink who didn't eat much gruel (she wanted to play! SO CUTE) a way did some time with mom. Mom is not enjoying them as much as she was, they have sharp chompers coming in. So she eventually got up and we had so much fun with them on the sofa :)

By the way. Sofas need dog beds. It's just how it's gotta be!

I've been remiss.... I am sorry! They just got a lot busier and hungrier and dirtier.... eats up time :)

3 weeks old

Today is the babies 3 week birthday and we celebrated by a quick first trip outside that they enjoyed, peed outside, which was nice and did a lot of screaming ;) Then they came inside and had their first gruel!  Oh, boy... great success there, turns out, I'm a pretty brilliant chef. They all raved about my cooking!

Busy day, all pups are now passed out, and I'm going to do the same :) Good night!!

Dad was a little horrified about the screaming, he stood there with his ears pulled back while Mom and Aunty took care of the pups. 

Turns out? Gruel = Delicious.
