Dance - Day 10

We have peepers!! Red has won the peeper race :) shortly behind is Grayt White and Orange. Black's one eye is open (and looking good) other isn't, so we aren't counting him yet. Got it open last night, thank you for your good thoughts!! Eye ointment continues for a few more days and we'll have to wait to see if we saved his vision (left eye only), but I'm hopeful.

No photos of eyes yet, will work on it but it's dark and they are soooo squirmy they are all so blurry you can't make anything out.

They have also made the next step of standing (kind of) to potty.  Initially they are stimulated by mom to potty, about this age they start going on their own and have little to no control over it. But this morning I saw Orange do a kind-of Downward Facing Dog and poop. And the box was much wetter. So we started with the potty pads. Once they are more aware of the sensation they will start to potty and move away from it. And eventually move to potty and then return, dogs are naturally pretty clean. At this age it's all about nurturing that to help make it easy to potty-train them. So we have potty pads in the box, in a few days it will be 70% potty pads and 30% soft place to sleep, and they will want to move away from their bed to potty then back to the soft bed, slowly it wil shift to about 50/50 and then less as they learn to go on the pads. It's pretty amazing. But by about that point we will be moving them to the Puppy Palace and it will be a whole new set of rules, the first step to conquering the world is conquering the puppy palace 😋

Feeding frenzy here:

I put in their first toy, the caterpillar.  No one was placed by it, I came in to find Grayt White snuggled up with it ❤️
